Daniel is a young artist torn between his small village community, urban art galleries, Catholic church and gay identity. When his lesbian friend commits suicide after suffering from homophobic heckling, Daniel's life mission becomes to redeem his community with an ultimate work of art -- as well as not to lose Olek, a local man he loves despite him not being able to embrace his sexuality.

Graduated from Cinematography Department of the University of Silesia in Katowice. His debut is the award-winning and famous film "Ki" by Leszek Dawid (2011), presented at the Venice Film Festival. Film received numerous awards: a nomination to the Main Prize in the Polish Film Competition and in the Cinematographers' Debut Competition in Camerimage in 2011. Other awards for "Ki" include the nomination to Andrzej Munk Award and Golden Duck awarded by readers of the Film magazine.
