Synopsis

Two friends - modest single mother Ona and enthusiastic countryside girl Saule - are both passionate cooks stuck working at a local canteen "Tasty". One day, without Ona’s permission, Saule enrolls them into a national TV cooking competition which offers a restaurant as the grand prize. Saule lies to jury about their background, stating they are both skilled chefs from a high-class restaurant “La Tasty”. Reluctantly Ona gives in into Saule’s lies and they both manage to get in. Though at the beginning everyone views "Tasty's" team as a joke, their simple yet delightful recipes let their popularity on social media explode. Despite success the tension between two friends rises as they start fighting over authority. Competition's celebrity contestant Bruknė uses the opportunity and tries to set them against each other. Will Ona’s and Saule’s friendship stand the test?
