Adam is an independent documentary producer who is currently producing Emma Macey-Storch’s debut feature documentary Geeta, which received Film Victoria development funding. Adam is also currently developing Darius Devas’ documentary webseries HeadOn, which received development funding from Screen Australia.
Adam recently worked with Sue Thomson on the feature documentary The Coming Back Out Ball Movie, which received development and production funding from Screen Australia, Film Victoria, The Post Lounge and the MIFF Premiere Fund. The film had its World Premiere as the Closing Night Gala film of MIFF. The film will be released theatrically in Australia at the end of 2018.
In 2016, Adam produced The Word: Rise of the Slam Poets for the ABC with Executive Producer Mandy Chang and Rohan Spong’s critically acclaimed feature documentary Winter at Westbeth. Winter at Westbeth had its international premiere at the prestigious DOC NYC, where it received the Special Jury Prize. It also played SFF and MIFF in 2016, screened theatrically in Australia and played to over 900,000 viewers on ABC1 in 2017.
Adam also co-produced the feature documentary All The Way Through Evening (2012), oversaw the independent distribution of the film in Australia. The film also had a US theatrical release.
